Beverley Knight, MBE is an English recording artist and musical theatre actress who released her first album, The B-Funk, in 1995. Heavily influenced by American soul music icons such as Sam Cooke and Aretha Franklin, Knight has released eight studio albums.
The musical tells the story of a tribe of dogs called the Pollicles and the night they make the “Pollicle choice” by deciding which dog will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new life.
