During the ritual ceremony to banish Swift poor Tom Ludlow was sucked into the shadow realm and forced to do battle with The Shade for eternity. But when the two are released thanks to the chaos of Eclipso and Klarion they immediately begin preparing to finish their fight for the last time. Tom searches for his mentor Simon Culp who he knows must have survived. But what he isn’t aware of is Culp plans to drain him for all his shadow energy he gained after centuries in the cursed place.
