Jennifer Coolidge (born August 28, 1961) is a European-American actress. She gained recognition for her comedic roles, including the American Pie (1999–2012) and Legally Blonde (2001–2003) film series. Coolidge's other film credits include Pootie Tang (2001), A Cinderella Story (2004), Click (2006), Date Movie (2006), Epic Movie (2007), Promising Young Woman (2020), Single All the Way (2021), Shotgun Wedding (2022), and A Minecraft Movie (2025). She collaborated with Christopher Guest on four of his mockumentary films: Best in Show (2000), A Mighty Wind (2003), For Your Consideration (2006), and Mascots (2016). On television, Coolidge has appeared in the sitcoms Joey (2004–2006), The Secret Life of the American Teenager (2008–2012), 2 Broke Girls (2011–2017), and the drama series The Watcher (2022). She garnered critical acclaim for her role as Tanya McQuoid in the first two seasons of the HBO anthology series The White Lotus (2021–2022), winning two Primetime Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe. Through the Fates, Hades learns that in eighteen years, a planetary alignment will allow him to free the Titans to conquer Olympus, but only if Hercules does not interfere. Hades sends his minions, Pain and Panic, to murder Hercules, providing them with a potion that can strip a god of immortality. The two kidnap the baby and feed him the potion, but a married farmer couple pass nearby, causing the demons to flee before Hercules could drink every last drop; therefore he is only stripped of immortality but retains his god-like strength. The now 18 year old demigod goes on a quest to regain his godhood and join the others on Olympus facing many obstacles along the way as Hades attempts to end his journey.
