James Newton Howard is an American film composer, orchestrator and music producer. He has scored over 100 films and is the recipient of a Grammy Award, an Emmy Award, and nine nominations for Academy Awards.
Set in 65 million years ago, an egg travels to an island of lemurs and hatches a baby Iguanodon and has been named Aladar. When Aladar grows up, a meteor destroys the island as he and the lemurs embark on a long journey to the nesting grounds with the herd from the dangers of Carnotaurus.
