Gifted with Power Coins that transform them into color-coded superheroes, they pilot giant mechanical beasts called Zords and battle the wicked sorceress Rita Repulsa, who was accidentally released from her prison on the moon. With the help of their robotic ally Alpha 5, the Rangers learn to balance high school life with saving the world from monsters and dark magic. As the series progresses, the team evolves with new members like Tommy Oliver, who begins as the corrupted Green Ranger before becoming the powerful White Ranger. The Rangers face increasingly formidable foes, including Lord Zedd, Rito Revolto, and Master Vile, each threatening Earth with escalating chaos. Through teamwork, martial arts, and long morphing sequences, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers become a symbol of courage and unity.
