Megatereon
Megantereon was a genus of prehistoric machairodontine saber-toothed cat that lived from the late Miocene the middle Pleistocene in North America, Eurasia, and Africa. It may have been the ancestor of Smilodon.
In 1862, an American explorer and his son are shipwrecked and washed upon a mysterious island. Soon they discover that this island is the home of generations of humans and dinosaurs living together in a peaceful and fantastic civilization called Dinotopia. Based on the books by James Gurney.
