Bonapartesaurus (meaning "Bonaparte's lizard", named after José Bonaparte) is an extinct genus of herbivorous ornithopod dinosaur belonging to Hadrosauridae, which lived in the area of the modern Argentina during the Campanian and Maastrichtian stages of the Late Cretaceous.[1]
