The president of film society and Allison's former boyfriend but still close friend. Not very popular on campus but well liked. Acts very distant initially from the case but still loves Allison and deep down supports her and believes in her innocence having written Blanc the letter about making the keynote speech. He believes with Allison's brains and Blanc's belief in people's innocence together Blanc and Allison can find the true killer.
