Dexter's Laboratory plots center on Dexter, a boy genius with a secret lab, whose life is constantly disrupted by his older, ditzy sister Dee Dee. Dexter creates a wide array of inventions, but Dee Dee inevitably gains access to the lab, often destroying his work. The show also features Dexter's rival, the evil genius Mandark, and sometimes involves Dexter's equally clueless parents, with episodes often ending with Dexter's lab destroyed or his parents having their memories wiped.
