Devil May Cry live action series
Devil May Cry is a stylish action series that follows Dante, a wisecracking half-demon mercenary who hunts demons while grappling with his tragic family legacy tied to his father Sparda, a legendary demon who rebelled against hell to protect humanity. Across the series, Dante clashes and reconciles with his stoic twin brother Vergil, whose obsession with power repeatedly drives him into darkness, while facing apocalyptic demon kings, secret cults, and invasions from the underworld. The story blends over-the-top combat and gothic spectacle with themes of identity, free will, and the cost of power, gradually expanding its cast to include characters like Trish, Lady, and Nero, who inherit and reinterpret Sparda’s legacy in their own ways.
