Jonah Wolfgang lives in the Irish village of Karaton with his mother and adopted little sister. When Jonah was just 13, his father was killed in a war with the Expons, a village that has been enemies with Karaton for years. 4 years later, Jonah is now 17, and the people of the village have improved their lives. Jonah's dad was really helpful around the village, and when he first died, people struggled to live without his help. But, they eventually improved a lot. Well, that all changed when the Karatonians found out that all the animals in the forest were hunted, meaning that there was no more meat for the villagers, causing everyone to panic. Then, an old merchant named Allister sells Jonah a map. The map is supposed to lead Jonah to Destiny River, a creek filled with magical water that keeps on attracting animals, meaning that they will never run out of meat. Even HUMANS can drink that water and they'll get attached! Jonah decides to lead his village to this lovely place, because he knows it will help the villagers a lot. But, after an Expon warrior finds out about Destiny River, she decides to try and stop the Karatonians from getting there because she wants that land to belong to the village of Exponia.
