Baccarin was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her mother is Brazilian stage and TV actress Vera Setta, and her father is Italian journalist Fernando Baccarin. When she was 7, Baccarin moved with her family to Greenwich Village, New York, as her father was transferred to Globo TV's headquarters in the United States, working as editor. Baccarin attended Public School 41 and New York City Lab School for Collaborative Studies, where she and Claire Danes were classmates. She later attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts before she entered the theater program at Juilliard. Baccarin landed her first movie role in the improvised fashion world comedy Perfume (2001).

The climate of fear has therefore faded and the danger seems to have passed to give way to calm and security. But who knows if it might not reappear one day. After all, as Mal so aptly put it, anyone can choose to be good or bad because good and bad are not innate and depend on our decisions. We can therefore never know where the threat will come from. A new era ushered in by our heroes is upon us, and it's up to you which path you want to take in it. The future of Auradon is now in your hands. Will the children of the wicked succeed in integrating into this new kingdom or will they be tempted to follow in the footsteps of their parents? And are we really done with the threats against Auradon? Knowing the desire for revenge of some villains, it's a safe bet that there will be those resistant to redemption who will still try to change the situation. But then what are they up to? It will be up to them to decide.
