David Brimmer is an American voice actor and fight choreographer who currently works for the English dub of the Pokémon anime. Brimmer began portraying characters on the Pokémon series during the first season. After the 4th season, he ended his tenure with the series, but continued to work with 4Kids Entertainment, presumably until before their bankruptcy. Brimmer returned to the series in Cream of the Croagunk Crop!, voicing Crasher Wake. Brimmer has been choreographing violence in New York, as well as in regional theaters around the country for over 20 years: from the current national tour of Jekyll & Hyde and the Off-Broadway productions of Bug and Killer Joe to the Joseph Papp Public Theater's Blood Wedding. His choreography has been nominated for a Douglas Fairbanks Award for Excellence in Theater and his work is currently on file at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Recently he choreographed the violence in the musical Spring Awakening on Broadway. He is the creator and current instructor of the stage combat program at New York University's (NYU) Tisch School of the Arts, and has taught at The Meisner Extension, the Classical Studio, the Stella Adler Conservatory, the Lee Strasberg Institute, the Playwrights Horizons Theater School, Atlantic Theater Company, and the Yale School of Drama. He is a former President of the New York Fight Ensemble (NYFE) and a member of the Society of American Fight Directors, holding the title of "Fight Master." Brimmer's approach to fight choreography focuses on the reality of pain; an often overlooked element to stage and Hollywood fights. In his classes, students are asked to live through the situation of hurting or getting hurt. Warm up exercises include "Mike Ball," "Assassins," and "The Poison-Arm Samurai."

Gyomei Himejima
for Gyomei Himejima in Demon Slayer (4Kids Dub)

Here is the 4Kids cast if 4Kids Entertainment still was an ongoing network that somehow (with no explanation whatsoever) had the rights to the popular anime Demon Slayer, which in this case goes by the name of Vampire Hunters to appeal to the FCC's expectations. You already know how this goes: The blood and gore will decreased, the lines are kept kid friendly while trying to respect the original source material (which never happens in 4Kids, although 2003 TMNT was left alone as it is so maybe this show could pull off the same feat). The Japanese names are changed to generic American names, the talk of death is either replaced with either the Shadow Realm or being imprisoned for eternity. The theme song of course will be changed heavily like the 4Kids dub of One Piece. And finally, the infamous 4Kids music will replace the ever more emotional roginal soundtracks. Music will be recycled from Sonic X, 2003 TMNT, Yu-Gi-Oh and Winx Club.
