Dr. Kate Dibiasky is a fictional astronomy PhD student at Michigan State University who discovers a planet killing comet headed on a direct impact collision with earth and yet struggles to get people to take her predictions of impending disaster seriously. She is portrayed by Jennifer Lawrence in the film, Don't Look Up.
