Kim Hwan Sung (김환성) was a South Korean singer under Music Factory Entertainment. He was a member of the co-ed group Kkaebi Kkaebi and later the boy group NRG. On June 6, 2000, Hwansung was taken to the hospital due to cold symptoms, but was transferred to the intensive care unit (ICU) due to sudden high fever and difficulty breathing. On June 15, Hwansung passed away following an emergency surgery where he was pronounced brain dead. Still Today, fans and NRG members remember him fondly as one of the greatest kpop idols.
