Slade Wilson, known as Deathstroke, was once a soldier who became a deadly assassin after undergoing a military experiment that enhanced his abilities. His life was shaped by betrayal and war, rising through the ranks of global crime syndicates and eventually crossing paths with Bruce Wayne during his time with the League of Assassins. Slade believed in the League’s philosophy of control and power, but Bruce rejected it, choosing justice over tyranny. In a pivotal battle, Bruce spared Slade’s life, an act Slade saw as condescending and humiliating. Blinded in one eye and consumed by rage, Slade swore vengeance, seeing Bruce not just as an enemy, but as an obstacle to the order and dominance he craved. This betrayal burned deep, leaving Slade obsessed with proving that control, not mercy, was the true path to survival in their brutal world. Now, Slade’s path is one of relentless pursuit of power, willing to destroy anyone who stands in his way, including Bruce Wayne, the one man he holds responsible for the collapse of everything he fought for.
