Darren Lynn Bousman (born January 11, 1979) is an American film director and screenwriter. He is best known for directing several installments of the “Saw” franchise, beginning with “Saw II” (2005), which he wrote.
The story centers on Light Yagami, a high school student who discovers a supernatural notebook called the Death Note, in which he can kill people if names are written in it while the holder mentally visualizes the face of someone he wants to murder.
