Wade Wilson (played by Jason Statham) is a former mercenary who has undergone a secret experiment that gave him powers of accelerated regeneration, but also left him with a facial disfigurement. Taking the name Deadpool, Wade becomes a mercenary with a mouth with a sarcastic sense of humor and a love of brawling and extreme situations. Moving through the shadows of society, Deadpool encounters his old enemy T-Ray (played by Karl Urban), an equally deadly mercenary with dark and mysterious motivations. Their paths intertwine in a deadly confrontation that leads to an epic battle. Along the way, Deadpool enlists the help of his ally Weasel (played by Justin Long), a technology and weapons expert who provides him with equipment and strategic advice. In addition, he has the support and care of Blind Al (played by Maggie Smith), an older woman with a sense of humor just as sharp as Deadpool's.
