Franzese was born in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, New York, the son of Denise and Ralph "R. J." Franzese, a lounge singer. Franzese attended Piper High School in Sunrise, Florida from 1992–1996. When a bizarre freak accident claims the life of a wildly eccentric satire artist, his corpse suddenly reanimates whenever music plays—slashing his way through a high-society party with choreography, brutal flair, and creativity determined entirely by the genre on the stereo. Synopsis The story centers on a chaotic, high-end mansion party thrown by elite record executives and superficial art critics. The guest of honor—or rather, the main spectacle—is an unhinged, bowl-cut-sporting satire icon whose absurd stunts have kept the industry on its toes. During a heated argument in the mansion's private studio over his refusal to sell out, a freak accident occurs: a heavy vintage speaker rig collapses, instantly pinning and killing him on the spot. Terrified of the legal fallout and public scandal, the corrupt executives decide to cover up the death, dressing his lifeless body up and propping him on a sofa in the middle of the crowded lounge—a literal Weekend at Bernie’s setup. The cover-up seems to be working until the mansion's surround-sound system kicks on. The moment music hits the airwaves, something dark and kinetic takes over the corpse.
