The Lords Of Magic are the ruling council of a world of god-like entities. The six bestowed their power unto the body of the outsider Jebediah. Jebediah managed to prove his worth to the Lords Of Magic by, inadvertently, revealing that their behavior was being controlled and altered by an exiled member of the council, Amon. Amon constructed a device to control the Lords Of Magic and plunge the world into chaos for revenge against them. Amon was defeated and imprisoned and the device eradicated. The Lords Of Magic, seeking to undo all the wrongs they committed under Amon’s control, granted Jebediah full control of their power they so that he gain their power. The magic word that activates the Lords' power is spelled from the first letters of each name of a Lords Of Magic member, and that letter represents a different ability granted by that member. Now, when the holder of the power, and new copies of the power that Jebediah holds, speaks the word “SHAZAM!”, a blast of magic lightning comes forth to change them into superhuman with all these abilities.
