After krypton dies. Kal-El gets sent to earth and lends in Smallville and then gets adopted. After a time skip, Kal-El becomes Clark Kent and gets a job on the daily planet. Only for Lex Luthor to start to cause havoc without people knowing it's him. So now it's Clark's job to stop Lex.
