Mike Flanagan (born May 20, 1978) is an American filmmaker best known for his horror work. Flanagan wrote, directed, produced, and edited the horror films Absentia (2011), Oculus (2013), Hush, Before I Wake, Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016), Gerald's Game (2017), and Doctor Sleep (2019). He created, wrote, produced, and served as showrunner on the Netflix horror series The Haunting of Hill House (2018), The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020), Midnight Mass (2021), The Midnight Club (2022), and The Fall of the House of Usher (2023), also directing and editing some if not all episodes of each. Flanagan is married to actress Kate Siegel, who has been featured in most of his works since Oculus. They also wrote the screenplay of Hushtogether. So, this is a MyCast page I made for the upcoming 2026 Movie “Clayface”, a horror movie set in the DCU that starts the Batman villain Clayface, that will come out on September 11, 2026. And it will also be the 3rd film in the DCU, coming after Superman (2025) and the upcoming Supergirl movie, which will come out on June 26, 2026. Clayface will be a body horror thriller movie, starring Tom Rhys Harries as Matt Hagen, an ascending actor who’s face gets disfigured by a gangster. As a last resort, the actor turns to a fringe Elizabeth Holmes-style scientist for help. At first, the experiment is a successful but … well, it wouldn’t be a horror movie if the story ended right there, would it?
