Has mixed feelings about her half-brother. She was a member of her father's second family and she witnessed her father be ruined and usurped by Lex before dying suspiciously. Lena is highly intelligent and driven. Started her own lab out of her uncle's mechanic shop when she was ten and finished her first graduate degree at eighteen. Goes by Lena Thorul when possible in both professional and personal lives because she doesn't want to constantly be in the shadow of the Luthor name - painted by it good or ill. However, the few times that she associated with Lex when she was younger were the only times that she felt understood by anyone intellectually on par with her until she met Kara.
