During the destruction of Krypton, a Kryptonian Labrador Retriever ends up in the escape pod of Kal-El, comforting him as they head towards Earth. Years later, the dog and Kal-El, now known as Krypto and Superman, live in Metropolis under their dual identities Bark and Clark Kent. Clark is dating journalist Lois Lane, whom Krypto is jealous of.
