Margot Elise Robbie (born 2 July 1990) is an Australian actress and producer. Her work includes blockbusters and independent films, and her accolades include nominations for three Academy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, and six BAFTA Awards. Time named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2017, and Forbes named her the world's highest-paid actress in 2023. Born and raised in Queensland, Robbie began her career in 2008 on the television series Neighbours, on which she was a regular until 2011. After moving to the United States, she led the television series Pan Am (2011–2012). She had her breakthrough in 2013 with Martin Scorsese's black comedy film The Wolf of Wall Street. The Largo family moves to Greenage Village for a fresh start after Jonathan, the father, loses his job for an incident of uncontrolled rage. Struggling to adapt, the family quickly senses that something is amiss in their seemingly quaint new town. Marie, the teenage daughter, feels disconnected from her parents and begins to notice the eerie behavior of the townsfolk. When Marie befriends a local boy named Billy, she uncovers sinister clues about the town’s history, including lore about an ancient cult called The Fog. The cult is said to summon the devil every 100 years, needing a human host and ritual sacrifices to complete the possession. Meanwhile, Jonathan stumbles upon a hidden chamber in their basement, leading to a violent encounter with cult members. As tensions rise, the Largo family becomes entangled in a web of horror. Jonathan’s behavior grows erratic, Lucy and Ethan struggle to survive the chaos, and Marie faces a terrifying betrayal when Billy reveals his allegiance to the cult. In a desperate fight for survival, Marie must confront her fears, protect her family, and unravel the horrifying truth about the town’s dark secrets. In a climactic showdown, the family barely escapes the cult’s grip, leaving Greenage Village behind. However, the horrors of the town may not be gone for good, as the Largo family’s haunting experience hints at a sinister, lingering presence.
