He may look like Fang because he inherited his father's gear and hat, but the purple on his fur is brighter while Fang's is a more vibrant purple. Nack was an old friend of Clutch's before his untimely death when Fang was a kid, which explains his turn to crime when he joined Mimic's gang. Nack was the only source of happiness and joy young Fang had, and was wise enough to tell him to listen to his heart when it mattered most.
