When Espio brought Knuckles to the other Chaotix members, Knuckles explained the events of Dawn of Sonic & Knuckles where in the part where Knuckles mentions Sonic, Mighty was surprised Knuckles knew Sonic. And Knuckles was equally shocked that Sonic had other friends besides Tails. During this adventure, Knuckles and Mighty grow a brotherly bond as red strong comrades and often work together on multiple occasions.
