Whisper may have let go of the past, and her hatred against Mimic, but that anger inside against the octopus still lingered. She no longer wants revenge for what happened, but she still wants justice for what Mimic has done. Like Shadow, Whisper is an expert on pain and revenge. She has been Shadow's partner in helping Surge be on the right path, not taking the one Shadow took that almost ended the world.
