Although Kit is house-trained before he was adopted, he is still the infant Starline tortured not long ago. He is living the happy life with the Prowers. Learning to read, to write, practically being raised the way he should have been. He still mispronounces things like an innocent child, though. Kitsunami has become increasingly scared of Starline now that his abusive captor who posed as his father actually sent an assassin to kill him!!! But he has his Prower family protecting him as if he was one of their own from the start.
