The rebuilding of the Badniks, the return of the Eggman Empire, all of it was a setup for Sonic and his friends so that Starline can gather the plans for Robotnik’s Metal Virus from Robopocalypse and remake it into a stronger version than before, and more effective! Luckily, his plans were put at a halt by our heroes.
