Chaos was an otherworldly being who came to Mobius where the Echidnas worshiped him. For centuries, Chaos has been considered their god. But when greed and cruelty came over Chief Pachacamac, the Echidnas wanted the Master Emerald's power for themselves, killing themselves and committed unintentional genocide on the Chao, which were Chaos' children. He only stayed in the Master Emerald for all that time because of Tikal. But now that he's released, he'll unleash his vengeance upon the world for what they've done.
