Sonic loves his job as Mobius' hero. But that love is overshadowed by the love of his family and friends. When he answered the door to Chuck, Sonia and Manic, he could not believe his ears when they mentioned his parents' name. This entire adventure revolves around Sonic not only trying to find his parents, but also trying to survive Neo Metal Sonic. Learning about what Neo did to them, he tried his best to win them back. But it breaks his heart to see that Neo has a stronger grip on his parents' lives. This was a stab wound to Sonic's heart that can't go away overnight.
