It turns out that Jules and Aleena did NOT die! They were just hiding from Robtnik and his allies in Knothole Village until Robotnik had spies to capture him and his wife to roboticize them, making them into Robians!!!!! Now they serve Neo Metal Sonic's will. Only the Power Rings that Uncle Chuck invented could (temporarily) make them normal (in mind, anyway.)
