Emerl is an ancient robot being known as a Gizoid found by Gerald Robotnik over 50 years ago. In fact, he went haywire on the ARK and almost attacked Gerald before Shadow came in and stopped him. Gerald put him away to slowly reprogram from this mistake. When he awoke in the present day, he was found by Neo Metal Sonic and Neo made sure he'd bow to his will. But with some programming after a big fight between him and Sonic, Emerl has thought of Sonic and Amy as his surrogate parents, which is Adorable for Amy to witness. Adorable or not, Emerl will do anything to stop Neo from hurting his new family.
