Silver saw his time go into ruin all because of one symbol: the Eggman symbol. He doesn't know if Eggman will be evil again, or if Eggman Nega from the past came to threaten humanity again, or if Neo Metal Sonic is wearing Robotnik's brand, which is unlikely. Silver and Blaze had Marine and Venice stay at the base while they rescue Sonic from rescuing Amy. They succeed, but Silver tells Sonic the possibility of Eggman being the cause of the future's disaster, even after Sonic gained his trust. In the end, Silver and his team will stay to make sure that the future they saw will never happen.
