When every single Badnik, including his generals, have been destroyed due to the kickback of the explosion of the Death Egg and Sonic and the Resistance's efforts to defeat him, Neo Metal Sonic played possum and laid low for a couple minutes before devilishly and menacingly chuckling, with his laughs echoing in the battlefield. Then he reveals to have copied almost every single one of the Mobians and everyone he has fought from Metal Chaos Part I to now, putting it all together, to mutate into the most powerful being of all time: Metal Overlord.
