KNuckles was always the slow-to-give-trust to those who was his enemy in the past. Now over ten of them are on their side now, Think of how he feels. When Eggman entered the base, he was the first to react. Being the first to be betrayed by Eggman and left for dead on Angel Island, Knux does not trust Eggman if he was the only person left on Mobius. Aside from his trust issues (which are valid and understandable), Knuckles saw that Neo ordered the Death Egg to be intentionally powered off so it could crush everybody!!! Selflessly, Knuckles ran to a Death Egg Robot, punched its hand a bit, and then grabbed it tighter than before, swung the D.E.R. and YEETED it to the Death Egg!
