When Team Sonic found Bark, he was actually a crime novelist, writing books inspired by classics like "Nancy Drew", "Sherlock Holmes", and "Murder, She Wrote". It's good to have a hobby, but he also wants to help the Resistance fight Eggman. Nobody realized it before that Bark was actually a sweet guy who felt like he didn't have a choice until the day he was reformed. Sure, he's a fierce, powerful polar bear who looks like he'd tear you to shreds, but he's actually a calm, gentle soul at heart.
