Amadeus feels so ashamed for leaving his boy behind 10 years ago. He feels like a terrible father for accidentally abandoning him on West Side Island, and then eventually getting roboticized by Eggman. In fact, he's one of the first to not believe Eggman is here to help. Something is off about Eggman and his cohorts.
