After he and his friends were free, Sonic began to worry about his chances against Neo Metal Sonic. How the wrong decision could take someone's life. And he believes he was right about that. He blames that his rash actions in fear and anxiety has cost him the lives of Emerl, Longclaw, and Omega, and the capture of Amy. Sonic has grown the need to put too much on his shoulders during his captivity, and he still does now. In the end, he goes into a major panic attack after something that never happened before: they lost.
