This Eggman is actually not that evil. He's just selfish and cowardly, but he's not bent on world dominance. The only reason he's bad is because he wants to turn a village into a theme park. This is the one Eggman everyone actually started to like, except for Sonic who has trust issues after realizing his Eggman "turned good", but was revealed to have killed Longclaw and started Robopocalypse. Boom Eggman is not even that close in evil.
