When Venice was a little girl at 5, her home, not very much of a home at the time, was attacked by Iblis' minions. Her and Silver's parents ran as far as they could, but when her mother sprained her leg and dropped Silver, she saved him. Then, as the dad tried his best to fight Iblis' forces, her mother promised Venice to keep him safe. Then she watched them get incinerated, which broke her heart. For the past 13 years (basically Silver's lifetime), Venice did her best to protect her little brother and encourage him to make the right choice. Venice became a fine, strong woman of 18 and is not jealous of Silver's abilities whereas she has none.
