Max and Alicia were thought to have been killed by Mammoth Mogul when Sally was only a little girl, but the fact of the matter is . . . the Phantom Ruby has been so in touch with the multiverse that it has created portals in time throughout the Dawnverse. Mogul pushed them off a cliff, but a portal saved them and got them to Silver, Blaze, Marine, and Venice. Max and Alicia get separated from Silver's group but are reunited with a much older Sally Acorn, and his old Freedom Fighter friends from the Great War, such as Amadeus, Rosemary, Chuck, Aleena, and Jules!
