Team Chaotix (チームカオティクス, Chīmu Kaotikusu?), often simply called the Chaotix (カオティクス, Kaotikusu?), are a group that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. They are a trio of detectives-for-hire consisting of Vector the Crocodile, Espio the Chameleon, and Charmy Bee who run the Chaotix Detective Agency.
Sonic and Tails were roaming Emerald Hill Zone when Robotnik attacked, and having thought destroyed Sonic at last, and captured Tails. Then, an armadillo and a squirrel named Mighty and Ray help him get back on his feet and become eager to help Sonic go to Eggman Island and take Tails back. But there is more to them than meets the eye, as we discover some secrets that connect his past to Robotnik, just like Sonic's past did! Eventually, they rescue Tails and Robotnik's city has been totaled. Then Mighty and Ray separate from Sonic to go on their own adventures where they eventually join a detective agency.
