During a space expedition to study cosmic energy, led by scientist Reed Richards, the space station is hit by a cosmic storm, the crew, consisting of Reed, astronaut Ben Grimm, researcher Sue Storm, and pilot Johnny Storm, is exposed to mysterious radiation and undergoes mutations that alter their anatomy. Now, the four struggle to cope with their transformations while trying to stop a mad scientist who is building an army of bizarre mutants.
