In Egypt, archaeologists discover the tomb and the mummy of the high priest Imhotep. Upon finding the lost Book of the Dead, a young archaeologist reads an ancient spell that brings the mummy back to life. Fear spreads as the mummy goes on a search for the Book of the Dead and will destroy anyone to raise his beloved from the Underworld.
