Based on the MTV cartoon sitcom. Daria Morgendorfer is what they call a "brain." She doesn't care about fashion or friends or clubs, just book smarts. She talks like she has no emotions and she hardly ever smiles. In her own words, "It's great that I'm smart, but it sucks that I'm the only smart person in the world I live in. Not everyone in the world is an idiot, I'm sure of that, but I everyone I KNOW is an idiot. My parents, my younger sister, the students at my school, even the teachers. Although my friend Jane is considered an exception." Peer pressure and her permanent records tell her to join at least one extracurricular activity, and at least one sport. One thing she enjoys doing is publishing her poems anonymously in the school paper. She's also not sure whether or not she should find the guy of her dreams.
