Morally honest lawyer Matt Murdock lives in Hell's Kitchen, where he runs a law firm with his best friend Foggy Nelson. When Matt was a child, he was involved in an accident that caused him to lose his eyesight. The accident also caused Matt's other senses to become incredibly enhanced. Murdock used his heightened senses to fight the overwhelming crime in Hell's Kitchen as "Daredevil". Meanwhile, notorious crime boss Wilson Fisk sets up his operation in Hell to get away from Spider-Man. Fisk's criminal empire quickly begins to spread across Hell's Kitchen, forcing Daredevil to interfere. However, things quickly get complicated for Murdock when someone from his past, the assassins Elektra Nachios, returns being blackmailed by Fisk into killing Murdock. Daredevil must try to reconcile with Elektra to take down Fisk. In the final act, Daredevil and Elektra face the Kingpin. Fisk, after learning of Elektra's betrayal, tries to kill her but ends up killing his wife Vanessa, but in the second shot she hits Elektra who falls into the trash, forcing Murdock to abandon his morals, beating Fisk within an inch of his life, stopping only when the police arrive at the scene. Post credit scene: Matt arrives at the police station to meet a new client, a woman who has just been arrested for attacking a man in the street whose name is Jessica Jones.
