The imprisonment of New York's Kingpin, Wilson Fisk, has created a power vacuum, sending the underworld into chaos. With the crime running more rampant than ever, Daredevil can't possibly fight his way through all of Hell's Kitchen. But he's not alone, as another vigilante has arrived to seek justice in the city and opposes Matt Murdock in every way possible. As the number of criminal figures dwindles, an assassin is hired to finish off the rest; one who knows Daredevil's every weakness.
