Andrew Brion Hogan Goddard (born February 26, 1975) is an American screenwriter, director, and producer most closely associated with the horror genre. He began his career writing episodes for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Alias, and Lost. After moving into screenwriting in film, he wrote Cloverfield (2008), World War Z (2013), and The Martian (2015), the latter earning him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. In 2011, he made his directorial debut with The Cabin in the Woods. In 2015, Goddard created the Netflix series Daredevil. Soon after, he directed several episodes of The Good Place. He served as an executive producer for 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) and The Cloverfield Paradox (2018), the next instalment in the Cloverfield franchise. It was announced in April 2024 that he would write and direct a new film in The Matrix franchise. After an accident that resulted in a young Matt Murdock's eyesight, he became blind. The incident heightened his other 4 senses, making him near superhuman. We cut back from Matt's childhood after the incident and present day. At day, he's a lawyer in New York. At night, he's the daredevil of Hell's Kitchen. The subtitle of this season will be ''The Man Without Fear''. As you expected, it will take a lot of inspiration from the actual Netflix series. After the New York battle, it can carry alot of weight that this series's first season will have to carry on its bag. All the characters would have growth and ultimately becoming new people. In the end, Fisk will be arrested and teases that his niece will return.
